Meet the investment threshold
Own property worth at least AED 2 million. The value can come from one or several properties, ready or off-plan from approved developers.
Mortgaged and off-plan property
Mortgaged properties can qualify with a bank NOC, and off-plan units bought from approved developers can also qualify. The rules are set by the authorities and can change, so check before you apply.
Gather your documents
Title deed (or Oqood/SPA for off-plan), passport copy, personal photo and, where applicable, a bank NOC and statement of the amount paid.
Apply
In Dubai, apply through the Dubai Land Department / Dubai REST services or the GDRFA, then complete the medical test and Emirates ID biometrics.
